The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the European Union presented her credentials to the President of Turkmenistan

On  26 September 2023, H. E. Beata Peksa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the European Union to Turkmenistan, presented her credentials to H. E. President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov extended his heartfelt congratulations to Ms Beata Peksa on her appointment to this esteemed diplomatic position and conveyed his wishes for her to achieve significant success in further enhancing the bilateral relations.

In response, Ambassador Peksa conveyed warm congratulations to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the occasion of Turkmenistan's 32nd Anniversary of Independence, and thanked Turkmenistan for the efforts on the international scene to foster dialogue for peace especially now when the international security order is under attack.  

Referring to the 30th Anniversary of the diplomatic relations between European Union and Turkmenistan, the parties took stock of achievements of bilateral cooperation so far, and discussed plans for future joint actions and initiatives.
